FPP Development Priority List
At a meeting of the FPP working group held 10/12/96 at Jefferson
Lab, the participants agreed on a list of FPP priorities.
These included...
- gas system: get reasonable procedures implemented by the lab
so that we stop running out of gas and purging the chambers
- chambers 1,2:
- reanalyzing cosmic data determining tracking efficiency
for events with good VDC tracks, as function of phase space
- (low) get test pulser implemented
- (low) try to fix the few dead wires
- chamber 3:
- get good cosmic data, and fix any problems
- fit the detector into the stack
- run ch 3 cosmics as part of the stack
- chamber 4: bring to TJNAF, do quick tests, then repeat chamber 3
procedure
- LV: buy spare 50 A stuffings to put into boxes if needed
- carbon analyzer: continue EPICS work, and trivial electronics
- software: disseminate knowledge about software so that all of
us are able to run it, and more people know the guts
