Calibrating the E-094-016 Lead Glass Detector

Abstract

A proposal is presented for an in-situ calibration of the lead-glass calorimeter with e⁺e^- pairs created in a thin converted located at the upstream edge of the alcove. The pairs will be momentum analyzed by a dipole magnet also located near the edge of the alcove. I list my assumptions that lead to a specification of the required equipment.
