Loading new alarm limits: Go to /u/group/poltar/ctarg/Screens/ALH and edit the file alarmlimits.bash. Note that to keep things straight, I've been making the changes in alarmlimits_sp03.bash and then copying that over to alarmlimits.bash and then reloading the alarm limits from the main GUI. What's in this file? Here's an example: # #Loop 2 temperatures #--------------------- caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.LOLO 18.5 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.LOW 18.75 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.HIGH 19.25 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.HIHI 19.5 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.LLSV 2 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.LSV 1 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.HHSV 2 caput hcITC502_2_Sensor_1_R.HSV 1 # The 1st four lines set the 4 alarm limits for this epics variable (1st ITC temp. sensor in loop 2). The next 4 lines define the severity assigned to each of these alarm limits: 2=major, 1=minor, 0=no alarm. ======================================================================= Checklist: Now in pull down from main GUI. It runs the command /u/group/poltar/ctarg/Screens/Make_Checklist.bash, which creates (overwrites) the Checklist file in ~/Ctarg. Alternatively, from ~/Ctarg/Screens, I copied the bash file there so you can just type ./Make_Checklist and it'll type it all out on the screen for a quick check of the main parameters from, eg, offsite.
