Progress:
- Playing with the acceptance cuts:
- applying theta/phi cuts does not change the
x-section shape;
- applying delta cuts changes the shape of
x-section:
- 14% -- smaller drop on low Ep edge;
- 12% -- again smaller drop on the low Ep
edge;
- 10% -- smooth at the low Ep edge, but high
Ep edge starts to raise;
- Problem stays, and I have run out of ideas.
In
Progress:
- Extracted F2, shown below:
- Extracted Q^2-dependence of
F2:
- For each plot, data
points from top to bottom have increasing x_bj, and from left to right
have increasing theta;
- The three (or four) data
points connected together have the same x_bj, of which the x_bj value
is shown as "key" for every three set (try matching the color);
- Each set is offset by
multiple of the value shown on the y-axis label, the lowest set
(highest x_bj) has the smallest offset (1x0.00518 for LD2 and 5x0.00609
for C12).

To do:
- Don't plan to do more on
the x-section until the low Ep problem is solved, however, not smart
enough to solve it by myself;
- Set up on-line x-section analysis;
- Check all normalizations;
