Research Objectives - Surface Characterization Lab II (L121)
After a coating is created or modified, several techniques can be applied using extremely sensitive microscopy instruments to measure and understand its properties. For example, hidden defects can be identified in devices using extremely powerful non-contact, non-invasive, or non-destructive methods at the atomic and nano-scale.
