Job Description
A Junior Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of duties under the guidance of a Laboratory and Research Specialist II and Laboratory and Research Technicians. These duties include operating various laboratory equipment, maintaining a clean laboratory environment, utilizing computer skills as needed, and assisting with inventory and procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment.
Characterization Techniques:
- Axiolab Reflected and Transmitted Light Microscope (Zeiss)
- Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM)
- Shimadzu Vickers Microhardness Tester Type M
- Hitachi S-570 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
- Dektak 3 ST Surface Profiler
