When MCC declares stable beam to Hall B. 1) read beam counters upstream/downstream 2) tune beam position left/right and up/down by a few millimeters and - measure rates in beam counters. Rates should not change dramatically - measure current in Faradeay cup. Current should not change at all. 3) If beam okay - swith on a few TOF PMTs and measure rates - look at analog signals - switch on EC PMTs, observe analog signals any baseline shift?? - measure rates for high/low EC trigger settings 4) Turn on drift chamber HVs - observe single rates - measure drift chamber currents 5) pedestal run 6) take data with TOF OR, EC low/high threshold Insertion of target: Set detector HV to zero. Need to communicate with MCC to swith beam OFF before target is inserted. Insert target Bring beam back up Set TOF, EC HVs and measure rates
