- High voltage cables have been replaced in the cameras
- VESDA problem has been checked and is working properly
- CAEN high voltage card (1Y01®
1Y10) was over 200 volts, replaced card and now working
- Report on R (Peter Bosted)
- Experiment now at 56% complete
- Running for past week - all of E=2238 is done
- Have now, both HMS e- SOS e+/HMS e+ - SOS e-
- Showed overlap plots
- Still need improving Particle Id. Cubs to get true e+/e- ratio
- Overlap plot (used e- dummy (=AL) run)
- Showed elastic peaks study
- 56% data points showed
- Report on Experiment (Rolf Ent)
- All detector surveys are done and in
- Showed pointing duration for HMS as function of angle and time
- About 60% good data taking last week
- Main down time was caused by the injector work
- Showed breakdown of run

- Readiness Review meeting took place, and is now being written up
- Platform for detector is being worked on
- Trying to fix sharp points in target box to fit into chamber
- Rescheduled interface meeting with Accelerator, trying to get everyone to agree on the same thing

- Type of liquids that will be used: LH2 only

- Showed scaler rates
- Neutron rate is higher than EPC calculation
- Report on HMS tune for Gen (Ken Garrow)
- Normal HMS tune already too large on out-of plane acceptance with neutron detector
- Changing HMS only slightly increases (e,e'n) rate at low momentum transfers
- Bringing James Stewart in next Tuesday August 17, for interview
