Items of Discussion

• Drive laser integration was brought up by Michelle. She says:
  1. We need to phase lock the laser to the MO.
  2. We cannot reproduce the phase stability measurements of three weeks ago.
  3. The rf ioc is dieing occasionally which causes the rf to lose lock. At this point the discussion devolved into a discussion of ioc and Xterm priorities. K. Jordan said,"just leave this for the new Dr. Gun."
• We will start a hardcopy Daily Activity log for the ITS to keep track of changes to the machine. Use of the on-line log was discussed briefly, but needs to be made workable on the CEBA before we adopt.
• There will be a new DIAGNOSTIC & BEAM INSTRUMENTATION meeting starting Thursday at 8:30 AM. We will be dividing up the task lists for discussion at future meetings this Thursday morning. Please plan to attend if you are effected.
• The procedure for setup of Arc 1 was developed. I will post the draft of it on the www for review and comment, rather than clutter the minutes. The peer review process for setup procedures went well.

New Issues

• Staffing of ITS experiment was deferred again, but a commitment of "real soon" was given.
