Addenda/Errata to Previous Minutes

• P. Piot still needs to get the PARMELA deck from Byung to calculate 10 MeV bunchlengths.

• GA Krafft and/or D. Kehne need to call U. Hapek about the bandwidth of the detector. Philippe thinks we need to go to 6 mm.

• D. Douglas presented his first cut at a CSR test plan. The view foils are available on the www at ~douglas/FEL/csr_emittance/emittanceindex.html

• There were questions about how long the high bunch charges needed could be maintained by the cathode. In pulse mode this shouldn't be a problem.

• Steve suggested using phase space tomography if the software is available and Dave agreed.

• Steve also suggested acounting for wakefield effects in the error analysis.

• Bob Terrell presented his plan for a magnetic field measurement probe. He is using a Rawson-Lush Instrument Co. The slides are available at
  ~terrell/magnetic_field_probe
  The probes are off the shelf designs having very good absolute measurement and good reproducitbility. The only problem is they are much larger than a normal Hall probe and mounting them in the tight magnets will be a problem.
