Subject: Polarized Injector Run

I would like to personnally congratulate you all on the incredible success
of the December polarized source run.  Despite some initial problems with
intensity fluctuations, the source functioned at a level way beyond what
has been achieved elsewhere, and even beyond the expectations of our
notoriously greedy users.  I am well aware that all of you have put in long
hours, including Thanksgiving and many weekends, in order to meet the
extremely tight deadline.  It must be as comforting to you as it is to me
to see the quality of the data the users have been able to acquire in such
a short time - already exceeding that obtained at SLAC and Bates.

Thank you again for your dedicated efforts.  I wish you all a relaxing
Christmas vacation before the Injector rebuild begins in January.
