Drift Chamber Groupers;
Last night we had a series of successful runs. We recorded about a
million events last night with the drift chambers operational and
being read out. We've even gotten some tracking going. Efficiencies
seem to be greater than 90% and noise levels are fairly low even at
luminosities greater than a few times 10^33. Our low level monitoring
of hit quality shows a number of electronic and software problems which
we are investigating. The chambers are operating well, with low currents.
