DC Offline shifts

DC enthusiasts-

For the June run, we will be organizing the offline shifts a little more
than in the Feb run. This message is a call for volunteers for offline
drift chamber shifts.

As I see it, there are three mail goals of the offline effort _during_ the
June run:
1) assess runs with special conditions (eq zero field) as quickly as
possible
2) monitor overall performance of CLAS
3) improve our offline analysis skills.

We have "elected" Will Brooks as an offline analysis coordinator for the
June run.

I am working on setting up a set of standard DC histograms and ntuples in
recsis for the offline analysis during the run. I am also identifying
people to take our offline analysis shifts. One person is performing
this role for each detector package.

We hope to have two offline analysis experts and as many as two novices
per shift. At this point, it is unclear if we will have enough person
power to man all three shifts per day.

You are on offline DC expert if:
o You can run recsis (and paw).
o You can create and change histograms and ntuples from within recsis.
You are on offline DC novice if:
o You can not do the above, but you want to learn.

This will be an excellent opportunity for "newbies" to become experts.

So I urge _everyone_ (experts and novices alike) who is getting this
message to respond. Please tell me when you will be onsite and available
for offline shifts between June 4 and June 29. You will not be scheduled
for offline during your online shifts.

Cheers,
Richard
