DC folks,
A couple of items that you may be interested in:
1). I have updated the list of known missing/dead channels for all
18 drift chamber sectors following the last running period.
This long list can be viewed for each CLAS drift chamber
Region at
http://www.phys.cmu.edu/cmu/names/carman/clas/dc.html
2). The Region One detector was successfully extracted from the cryostat
yesterday. It will be transported over to the EEL building clean
room at some point today if we have no snags in our work plans. For
those who may not be aware, we successfully employed the main CLAS
torus to measure the tensions of our ~30 monitor wires in each of
the six sectors. Tension results appear to be quite sensible. This
appears to rule out any serious mechanical stresses as the culprit in
all of our broken wires.
If people have any questions about either of these items, let me know.
