A while ago there was a question about the accuracy of wire chamber
geometry in RECSIS. Here is the status of the answer.
We are currently working on determining the actual Region II geometry from
the survey results. Due to a lot of confusion about coordinate systems
and to incomplete survey data (we were unwilling to take the time and
money during the extremely hectic installation period to have the job done
completely) the work will take a while. When we have results we will have
the geometry in RECSIS updated. The expected accuracy of the wire chamber
positions will be about 1 mm.
Until this is done, you should be able to use B=0 straight tracks
to give you an idea about the inconsistencies in RECSIS.
