DC Folks,

A couple of items that you might be interested in looking over.

1). We completed our first pulser run in a while yesterday evening.
This test was primarily done to check out the newly modified
ADB boards for Region One. The results can be found on my
DC web page at:

http://www.phys.cmu.edu/~carman/clas/dcwire.html

Things now appear to be working for those sectors with modified
boards.

2). I have performed a detailed study of pathologies for all of the
isolated missing drift cells in the entire DC system. This study
does not include things such as disconnected HV or signal cables.
The results can be found at:

http://www.phys.cmu.edu/~carman/clas/dcwire.html

The good news is that essentially every missing drift cell in the
entire system has been studied.

3). At this point in time, I have addressed every known problem with the
drift chambers except for one. This involves getting the last
FASTBUS crate set up and readout. As you may recall, this crate will
include the very back angle cells for the Region One detector (a total
of 144 cells from each sector). These cells are quite important for
several physics reasons, and as such, Bernhard has given the completion
of this work high priority for the December physics run. The ball is
rolling on this task . I will report any news when it comes out.

If you are interested in looking at the remaining problems in the drift chamber
system, you can find everything you need to know at:

http://www.phys.cmu.edu/~carman/clas/dcwire.html

As always, if you have any questions about these items (or others), let me
know.

Daniel
