The problem with the interference of the CAEN software and
DCHV ( according to the CAEN representatives) can be the fact that in the
CAENET chain were crates with different software versions, which can
jam the CAENET communication. And further control from
the CAEN native software can bring the v288 controller in a funny state.
They don't have at the moment any explanation to the I0 problem.
They suggested to have trip set 1 or 2 during rump up and then after
stabilization put trip to the 0.1 or 0.
We need to reinstalled the CAEN software in the CAEN crates ( Mark is
in charge of it).
After we need to test the CAEN new software and grouping mode operations.
We will send DCHV status report by email at the end of this week or
we will present it next week during the DC meeting.
Sincerely,
Vardan
P.S. I apologize that I am not able to participate to the DC meeting
due to the scheduled software meeting and 13:30.
