Using time estimates submitted to me by the group I have put together a
draft schedule for tagger commissioning activities. We'll discuss the
schedule at the Monday afternoon meeting. Everyone's time request has
been approximately doubled to account for inefficiencies. I'm also
assuming that any possible checkout that can happen with cosmic rays has
occurred before we start running. The schedule of activities will be
updated daily once we start commissioning.
Sat. 3/28:
day: Tune 2.4 GeV beam.
night: Tune beam to radiator, photon beam to target, check
backgrounds.
Sun. 3/29:
owl: Begin tagger commissioning. Plateau the T-counters.
day: Plateau the E-counters, pair spectrometer, pair counter.
night: Plateau the E-counters, pair spectrometer, pair counter.
Mon. 3/30:
owl: Total absorption counter checkout.
day: Pair spectrometer and pair counter tests.
night:Pair spectrometer and pair counter tests.
Tue. 3/31:
owl: Begin Start counter commissioning. Start counter checkout.
day: Timing studies between TOF and MOR.
night: Timing studies between TOF and MOR.
Wed. 4/1:
owl: Begin trigger and DAQ studies. Study prescaling,
asynchronous trigger.
