Good afternoon:

After a short discussion between Dan and myself, and in order to address
some problems with the reporting of problems with the Tagger system
during the last runs, I am proposing that we use a form, which you can
find under http://www.jlab.org/~murphyl/tagger_err.html, to notify the
tagger group of small problems. The list of the problems are then
parsed (by me manually at the moment) into a file which can be found
under
http://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/equipment/tagger/Errors/errors.html.

The idea here is that this form is essentially of use during data taking
periods, where Tagger personel can browse the list of encountered
problems and fix them within a short time. It is not intended as a
'forum' to discuss the philosophy of analysis, or major configuration
changes to the Tagger set-up.

I think the form in question will work with the most browsers. But
please try it and let me know.

Right now, when you submit a report it will be e-mailed to me. I'll
parse it into the appropriate file. Once the problem has been fixed you
can erase the entry by hand yourself. The file in question is to be
found in:
/net/fs1/site/www/html/Hall-B/equipment/tagger/Errors/errors.html.

I'm opened to constructive suggestions and comments.

Regards
