So I created a little interface on claspc1 (my local linux box) that probes clas10 every minute and updates
a small database on claspc1. This database is then available through a cgi-bin script on the web.
It is dynamic in that YOU can add/delete epics records that you would like to track. To do this you will
need to know the password, which is "arne".
When you add a variable you will need to enter:
The epics record name (case sensitive)
What you what text on the web page you what to call this variable
Group assignment so that you can find it easily (for example "Mark" or "Magnets"...)
add or delete the variable from the data base
then click "submit"
Once you add a variable, tablle will be created in the database and data should start showing up in about
one minute....
Please give it a try/look AT: http://claspc1.cebaf.gov/cgi-bin/EPICS/epics.plx
presently you can access the latest value and one minute plots.. There is still a lot of garbage/debug text
written to the pages....but it is functional....although I need to add some buttons to help you navigate...
at present you will need to hit the reload button very often.
let me know if there are any features you would like to see added.
