there is a new possibility for the EG1 meeting date: Ralph Minehart has
informed me that the next N* meeting will likely occur on April 25
(Saturday). The potential overlap with EG1 collaborators (especially those
from out-of-town) seems to be larger than the NMR clinic (on April 20th),
so I would like to consider the following options:
1) Have the meeting on April 18 (Saturday) all day
2) Have the meeting on April 19 (Sunday) all day
3) Have the meeting on April 24 (Friday before the N* meeting) all afternoon
with possible continuation on Saturday (to be negotiated with N* - they
may not need a full day)
4) Have the meeting on April 26 (Sunday) all day after the N* meeting.
Once again I have to urge you to send in your preferences AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
so we can fix the date. In your reply, list ALL options that would work for
you, and which ones you would PREFER. PLEASE reply - if too few people express
their interest, there may be no point in having an EG1 meeting at all!
In other news: So far, things at Oxford seem to look promising - the target
may be on its way over here by the end of this month! Also, we definitely
WILL have a readiness review on Thursday, April 9, all day. We plan to
have presentations in the morning, starting 8:30, in the directors conf. room
(B207 CEBAF Center). If needed, we should try to make ourselves available
in the afternoon, as well, to answer remaining questions that the review
panel might have. I will send out an agenda shortly. Everybody is welcome
to sit in (I believe)!
Greetings, and anxiously awaiting your response
