The refrigerator was run at 1K with the 4000m**3/hr pumping
system set up in the EEL. We were able to cool down the fridge
separator from room temperature and fill it in about 2 hours. The
banjo could be cooled down from about 80K and filled in 2 - 3
hours.
After much aggravation with targets we were able to get a nice
NMR signal with a makeshift target consisting of plasic beads
contained in a plastic pen top and wound with Kapton tape. This
was the final measurement in the acceptance procedure. A copy of
the NMR signal is taped to the magnet in the EEL and probably
will be posted on our Web page as soon as I can get a copy to
Sebastian.
For now we are warming up to prepare for installation of the
real windows and setting up survey points after the magnetic
alignment measurements which the Oxford fellows made.
