I have added attenuation length correction cabability to our code.
From my point of view, things run normally. After Sergei's and my
brave activity. Although I am not modifying anything on top of what
Sergei just did. It appears no side effect due to the transition.

I have not installed the new library. But I have checked in these
change to RCS...
