As of 11:22 Jul 8 there is a new version of
$CLAS_PARMS/ec_atten.dat. This corrects the
earlier version which had inconsistently applied
readout method corrections. This version has
NO readout corrections to the UVa strips. Also,
the format has changed (last 2 columns dropped),
which shouldn't break geom_ec_init.F since it only
reads the first 4 columns:

read(unit,'(3i3,f10.2)',iostat=iostat)
1 isect,ilayer,istrip,data

The new format looks like this:

1 1 1 330.0 0
1 1 2 338.0 0
1 1 3 296.0 0
1 1 4 285.0 0
1 1 5 333.3 0
1 1 6 312.0 0
1 1 7 322.0 0
1 1 8 293.0 0
1 1 9 285.0 0
1 1 10 226.0 1
1 1 11 251.1 1 etc..

where the last column means 0=fiber 1=direct readout.
The old ec_atten.dat file has been renamed ec_attenold.dat.

The avatt_sec_#.dbe files have not yet been updated. This should
occur by the end of today.
