I would like to propose getting rid of a number of older
files in the simulation repository, in preparation for
generating some new files for the upcoming run. The majority
of the files in this directory have some flaw related to GSIM
problems. I plan to several more files. Please send me your
suggestions to the following questions:
1) Which files should be kept, of the ones that are currently
in the repository?
My suggestions: 2.4gev_p_tgt_0, 2.4gev_p_tgt_8, electrons*.
Others?
2) What conditions should be simulated?
My suggestions:
2.4 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, zero field
2.4 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, half field
2.4 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, full field
4.0 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, zero field
4.0 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, half field
4.0 GeV with 10**34 luminosity background, full field
Other possibilities include the above with no background;
reversed field.
