Accelerator physics is obviously an important component of the technical
and intellectual infrastructure of Jefferson Lab, providing the basis
for both CEBAF and our new Free Electron Laser. We therefore call your
attention to the upcoming elections in the American Physical Society
Division of Physics of Beams. Those of you who are members of DPB
should have ballots, or may request one by phone, fax or via the website
at http://www.hep.anl.gov/awa/dpb/dpb-top.htm.
If you are not a member of DPB, you should consider joining. For just $6,
you can receive all the benefits of membership in the Division and if you
join before October 31, you can still vote in this election.
