Postdoctoral Research Associate
Experimental Electromagnetic Subatomic Physics
University of Regina

The SPARRO Group (Subatomic Physics at Regina with Research Offshore) has an
opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The group's scientific program
is focused primarily on Jefferson Laboratory, including measurements of
in-medium vector meson photoproduction, nucleon and pion electric form factors
and short-range nucleon-nucleon correlations. Further details on our research
activities can be found at http://www.phys.uregina.ca/sparro/

Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. in intermediate energy or particle
physics, and are expected to make significant contributions to this research
program. The position will be initially based at Regina, with possible
relocation to Jefferson Lab afterwards. The appointment will be made for one
year, renewable for up to two more years. We will begin screening applicants
on July 1, 1998, but the position will remain open until filled. Applications
including C.V. and 3 letters of reference should be sent to: Dr. G.J. Lolos,
Dept. of Physics, Univ. of Regina, Regina, Sask., Canada, S4S 0A2. E-mail:
