POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
The nuclear & particle physics group at Northwestern University
invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
Our research presently includes experiment E835 at Fermilab
(Charmonium spectroscopy in pbar-p annihilations - see
http://www-e835.fnal.gov) and experiment E852 at Brookhaven
(Search for exotic mesons - see http://lemond.phy.bnl.gov).
Future experiments at the JLAB(CEBAF) and the Fermilab Main
Injector are also planned.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Physics and have research experience
in experimental intermediate or high energy physics.
The initial appointment, which may start as early as July 1, is
for one year and may be extended for two to three additional
years upon mutual satisfaction.
