FACULTY POSITION
Theoretical Nuclear Physics
Florida State University
The Florida State University Physics Department is seeking applicants for a
tenure track Assistant Professor position in theoretical nuclear physics. We
are seeking candidates with a strong background in theoretical nuclear
physics. Emphasis will also be given to candidates having a strong commitment
to undergraduate and graduate teaching who are also interested in outreach
programs of the department. Members of the theory group work closely with
nuclear experimental groups whose activities include participation at the
Thomas Jefferson Laboratory (TJNAF), Brookhaven (RHIC) and Michigan State
University (NSCL). The starting date for this position is expected to be the
beginning of the fall semester of 1998.
