TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION
Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physics
NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY

Norfolk State University (NSU) is continuing its search for an faculty
member in experimental nuclear and particle physics (NPP). The position is
a joint appointment with the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator
Facility (Jefferson Lab).

The candidate will join the existing group of four faculty (Drs. M.
Khandaker, K. McFarlane, V. Punjabi, and C. Salgado), which is emphasizing
the physics of strong interactions at Jefferson Lab, and is also working on
the ATLAS project at LHC. Our Jefferson Lab program includes parity-violating
electron scattering (the G0 experiment), measurements of the electric form
factors of the proton and neutron, and proposals for searches for
hybrid/exotic mesons.

We are looking for someone with a background in experimental nuclear or
particle physics and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate
teaching. Applicants should submit a resume, including a summary of research
interests (copies of recent or forthcoming publications might also be
included) and should arrange for three letters of support to be sent on
