During this time we will measure the p(e,e'p)gamma reaction below
pion threshold (generalized polarizabilities) at Q^2 = 1.0 & 2.0 GeV^2.
We will also measure the p(e,e'p)gamma reaction in the nucleon
resonance region at Q^2 = 1.0 GeV^2. A draft run plan will be
available 01/28/98.
In addition, Hall-A is scheduled for commissioning beam March 1-9, 1998.
This commissioning period will include many activities of interest to
VCS (EP energy measurement apparatus, Arc Energy measurement.
Real Compton Calorimeter...). This will be a good training period
for the VCS collaboration. During the first 12 days of March we will
also have several VCS meetings to coordinate the work during the run.
By the end of January, 1998, we wish to have your availability at CEBAF
for VCS coordination meetings during the entire period
March 1, 1998 to April 12, 1998.
In addition, please indicate on the attached shift schedule your specific
preferences for shifts and your status (novice, expert). You may respond
individually or collectively by institution.
