MINUTES OF THE 12-September-1997 HALL B INSTALLATION MEETING
Present: W. Brooks, D. Carman, A. Freyberger, P. Hemler, G. Jacobs,
B. Mecking, J. Price, J. Robb, D. Tilles
1. Region I installation and testing
RI has been installed. The last cables were hooked up last night. Chamber
has been at full high voltage. Seven HV channels are tripping; needs to be
investigated. Ready to put in trigger counter and take cosmic ray data.
Estimate to finish RI work by Saturday.
2. Sequence of upcoming events
Friday day move forward carriage
night tagged photon test run
(sweep Hall B at 6:00 p.m.)
Saturday
7:00 a.m. Hall B open
morning put mini-torus on insertion cart
afternoon install mini-torus in magnet bore
put cryo-target on insertion cart
(need to look at potential interference with
surveyors' I-beam)
Sunday
morning survey and position mini-torus
afternoon mount cryo-target to mini-torus
Monday survey cryo-target
