New schedule

Dear Collaborators:
Well, we have yet another schedule. It seems that despite the rosy
announcements from the PR office, the accelerator people cannot yet
deliver reliable beam to three halls simultaneously, and probably will not
be able to do so for several months. This means that when Halls A and C
are running, we cannot; and hence, except for the weekend of July 26-29,
we are off until August 12. Bernhard has agreed, however, that when we
can run, we should, with real photons. Therefore I am happy to report
that the rest of the Tagger commissioning and the Photofission Experiment
is now firmly (I hope!) scheduled for August 14-29. Of course, we all
look forward to good beam, good detector behavior, and good data.
The meeting that I scheduled for July 25, therefore, is postponed until
August 15, time and room number to be announced as soon as I can get it
reserved.
Thanks again for your patience in the face of very trying circumstances.
I look forward to seeing you soon, under auspicious ones.
Best regards, Barry
