The photofission experiment has been postponed one week, from 4/5 to 4/12.
Here is the current best guess as to the dates:
Up to 4/7: commissioning at 2.4 GeV
4/8-9: maintenance; last chance to work in the Hall before the run
4/10-11: commissioning at 4.0 GeV
4/12-15: run photofission at 4.0 GeV
4/16: switch to 1.6 GeV; commissioning at 1.6 GeV
4/17-20: run photofission at 1.6 GeV
4/21-22: maintenance; remove photofission apparatus from the Hall
4/23: begin g1 experiment
Once again, I must ask you to please let me know when you intend to be at
JLab, so that we can put together a revised shift schedule. Thanks again
for your great patience and forbearance.
Our meeting scheduled for this Friday, 4/3, will be postponed to Thursday,
4/9, time and place to be announced.
I hope to see many of you then.
Let's look at the bright side--if everything that doesn't work yet gets
fixed by the time we run, we'll obtain better data!
Cheers, Barry
