Dear photofission collaborators:
Still no beam because of the linac vacuum problem. They promise beam by
9:00 pm, but you may take this with many truckloads of salt.
In any case, if we do get some beam tonight, there remain about three
hours of commissioning tests left to perform, namely E-T coincidences and
prescaling tests. Then we shift to g5.
With a lot of luck, we may begin by morning, just one day late; with even
more luck, a bit sooner. The moral of the story is, phone in before
coming in for your assigned shift.
