The Whys and Wherefores of Regge Poles and the Non-Perturbative Pomeron

These lectures are aimed primarily at experimentalists and graduate
students. The emphasis is on the basic elements of Regge theory, with the
aim of explaining the concepts without becoming too involved in the more
subtle mathematical detail.

The first lecture was held on Tuesday, Oct. 21st. A hard copy can be
