Starting on the 29th of September, Hall A begins testing and commissioning
of the new CryoTarget with beam. The commissioning, boiling tests and other
target related experiments will run from Monday, 29 September through
Tuesday, 7 October.
As these tests will be using the full capabilities of the spectrometers
we need people to help in the following areas:
1. Magnets/controls
2. Detectors
3. Electronics
4. Beamline/Target
5. Data Acquisition/Analysis
Jian-Ping Chen ("JP") will be Run Coordinator for this period.
Please also note, for those who have interest in any of the
up coming experiments, this period of target testing and commissioning
is an ideal opportunity for yourself and your personnel, to get detailed
training on Cryotarget controls, safety and operating procedures.
All future experiments will supply their own cadre of Cryotarget
trained personnel. Sign up early, seating is limited.
