1. Target
A. Target installation continues:
1. Target is fully surveyed into position
2. People are reminded that there are reinforcement posts
behind the Al scattering chamber window located at:
E-side: 68 and 112 degrees
H-side: 102 and 133 degrees
2. Beamline
A. Wilson completed the V to F calibration. It's according to
specs.
B. He will put it into the datastream.
C. Absolute beam energy measurement was discussed.
D. Luminita spoke about charge determination from the BCM's.
E. Rastering:
1. Took raster signals into an ADC. They work fine. BPM
noise will be looked into on Monday.
2. Luminita is working on a calibration of raster ADC
signal vs beam position in BPM.
3. Spectrometers
A. John has provided alignment numbers for the Hadron arm
magnets.
B. Real collimator dimensions have been added to Monte Carlo.
C. John has finished a snake analysis of extended targets.
The results are available from the Hall A minutes web pages.
4. Detectors
A. No new news.
B. Kevin and Nilanga and Juncai will be onsite to provide VDC
maintenance, in addition to Bogdan and Jack.
C. Is there an update detector position document?
5. Trigger
A. When will John Calarco come?
B. Bob has created a trigger file for us. Wilson will look into it.
6. ESPACE
A. Michael Kuss will be asked to create some needed kumacs and put
in some needed offsets.
7. End of run summary:
A. An end of run summary will be created that logs certain EPICS
process variables at the end of a run and allows later
plotting of this stored data.
8. Misc.
A. A tentative runplan was shown.
B. The Conduct of Operations still needs to be pieced together.
