CONFINEMENT III
The Third International Conference on Quark Confinement and the Hadron
Spectrum

to be held from 7 to 12 June 1998 at Jefferson Lab, Newport News, Virginia,
USA.
The aim of the Conference is to stimulate progress in the theory of quark
confinement.

There will be four main Sections to the Conference:
A) Mechanism of confinement; flux tube configurations and strings
B) Lattice theory and numerical simulations
C) Effective hamiltonians; quark models
D) Confinement phenomenology and experiments
