Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Experimental Nuclear/Particle Physics
The University of New Mexico
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research position (available
immediately) at the University of New Mexico. The current activities of
our group include searches for multi-strange objects (the S=-2 H-dibaryon
and Lambda-Lambda Hypernuclei) at BNL (E813/E836/E885/E906); an improved
search for rare decays of charged Kaons at BNL (E865); preparations for direct
CP violation search in K0 --> pi0 neutrino antineutrino (E926 at BNL); data
analysis of depolarization and spin transfer in antiproton-induced Lambda +
Antilambda production (LEAR PS185/3); and responsibility for the station 1
muon tracking chambers for the PHENIX experiment at RHIC/BNL, with primary
interest in the spin physics program at RHIC.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics are encouraged to
submit their curriculum vitae (incl. publication list), their research
experiences, and should arrange to have three letters of reference sent to:
