Postdoctoral Research Associate
Nuclear Theory
Ohio University
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate
position in theoretical nuclear physics at the Institute of
Nuclear and Particle Physics at Ohio University. The initial
appointment would be for one year, starting September 1997
with possible renewal for one or two additional years pending on
funding approval.
The candidates should have a strong background in the area of
few nucleon physics, and have a high level of initiative to complement
their research skills. The selected applicant will be expected to
participate to some extent in instructional efforts and thus should
have good communication skills. Computational resources available at
Ohio University include a Sun workstation cluster in the department
and high performance vector and parallel environments at the Ohio
Supercomputer Center.
