Postdoctoral Position
The Particle Physics Group at Louisiana Tech University invites
applications for a postdoctoral research position beginning in March of
1996. Our group is involved in the LSND neutrino oscillation experiment
at LAMPF, Hypernuclear Physics at CEBAF and BNL, and MARGIE a gamma-ray
balloon experiment with LSU. The Group's responsibilities include data
analysis for LSND, design, testing and building an electron hodoscope
for E89-9 at CEBAF, and an orientation, calibration, and veto systems
for MARGIE a gamma-ray balloon experiment. The successful candidate
will be expected to take a leading role in the MARGIE effort and to
support our other research efforts.
