On the CDEV home page under "New release Version 1.4/Channel
Access Service Features and Restrictions" it states that
"channel access fails if send is called from within a callback
function (either asynchronous methods are OK: sendNoBlock
and sendCallback)". The authors of CDEV have not submitted
a bug report on this matter so I am not certain what feature of
CA is failing. I am guessing that there is a problem with
doing a "ca_put()" withing a CA monitor call back? There is
a section of code which does this in my standard tests and this
test is working correctly. Therefore I am still confused about
the nature of this failure.
I am willing to help isolate and fix this problem if more
specific symptoms are provided.
