We are considering the following alternatives for the implementation of
a telescope control system:
- cdev and EPICS
- CORBA
- Some combinarion of the above
Recently some works on Real-Time CORBA (Real Time Event Services)
have appeared making this decision even harder. Is there any project
trying to
integrate CORBA and cdev? Any suggestion for the above options?
