We are looking for a handful of people who would like to be early beta sites
for the java cdev package. You can see the software in use with some simple
demos by visiting
http://www.jlab.org/cdev/java/
If you are interested, please let me know. We plan a general release
(with better documentation than exists right now) later in the month.
This beta software does not contain the graphical package jdm, only the
cdev communication layer. It is built to communicate with cdev 1.6, so
if you want to test this software, you'll need to install that release.
First release of jdm will be next month (I think).
