We do have a backup plan. Anindita Ghosh has a copy of the book.
Assuming she will allow us to, we can make a copy of the first chapter
and order 30 copies of the book from Addison Wesley today (you get your
book when you give us an account number for the charge card) for arrival
by the second week of class.

I have contacted a major bookstore who thinks that the books are in
stock at their warehouse and that they can have them to us by Friday.
They will call me back later today and we can place an order.
In either case we plan on ordering about 30 books.
So . . .
Could those of you who want one of these thirty books please email me
(or the list) so that your name can be put on the list. (first come
