Farm/Silo/Cache/Work Outage

There is a scheduled power outage in the Computer Center during the
maintenance period on August 5 from 5-10pm.  As preparation for the power
outage the batch farm queues will become inactive Monday (8/4) morning.
This means that no more jobs will be dispatched to farm nodes, but new
job submissions will be accepted and held in the queues.  Jobs that are 
pending
in the queues before the power outage will not be lost.  In adddition, 
the farm,
JASMine (jput, jcache, jget, etc.), the tape silo, the cache and work 
file servers,
and the ifarm will be shutdown during the maintenance period.  Please 
plan your
work accordingly.
