Reminder! Scientific Computing Outage Sat 7/28/07:
The mass storage system and the batch compute farm for experimental physics
will be unavailable on Saturday when central services are down for scheduled
maintenance. Batch queues will be closed on Friday in preparation for the down
time.
The central file servers serving home, group, mail, apps, site, wbs, etc,
will be taken offline at 8am Saturday. These systems will be replaced with new
hardware. ALL central computing services including email, centrally stored files
(/home, /group, /site, /apps, etc), printing, and web pages will be unavailable.
