Scientific Computing Users Meeting

This meeting provides users with an open forum to discuss JLab's offline
experimental physics scientific computing environment. Planning for
batch farm computing and storage for the next several years are the
primary agenda items:
* Batch Farm
-- Auger migration from LSF to PBS
-- OS upgrade - FC7 32bit?
-- ~175 additional compute nodes: dual 2.8GHz Xeons, 1GB RAM
-- new IFARML* interactive nodes
* Storage
-- silos reaching capacity; plans for ejecting data are underway
-- FY10: new silo and tape procurement
-- /work and /cache
