The August move of the second batch of RHEL3 LSF farm nodes to Fedora 8
and PBS begins this week. The final nodes will be moved in September,
ahead of the maintenance agreement expirations for LSF and RedHat.
For interactive nodes, IFARML1/2 will remain RHEL3; the IFARML Fedora 8
hosts include IFARML3/4/5. "use auger/pbs" to use the F8 PBS environment.
Also, the new mass storage IBM TS3500 tape library with LTO-4 drives is
installed in the downstairs data center. JASMine development is underway
to to support the new hardware and migrate off of the Sun/StorageTek silos.
